WELCOME TO

HARRISON CENTRAL HIGH

MEDIA CENTER

The media center is open every school day at 7:45 AM and is open after school until 3:45.  Students may come in before or after school without a pass, but during the school day they must have a pass from a classroom teacher.  Passes are required on their lunch breaks.  Students may check out two books at a time, provided they do not owe any library fines or overdue books.  Fiction, biography, and story collection may be checked out for two weeks at a time.  All non-fiction books are checked out on a two to five day period based on student demand.  Reference materials may not be checked out.  We subscribe to approximately 12 periodicals and access to the local newspaper is available.  Our print book collection of approximately 17,000 volumes and a database of ebooks is shown below.  We have 60 computers connected to two printers, which are available for students to use at .10 per copy.  There are two copy machines available for the students to use at .10 per copy.
